Health Hub

Every breakthrough. Every discovery. Every treatment. Every healthier community. Starts with understanding people. That's why health at CLAS goes beyond medicine to encompas the whole person.

Our students study biology alongside psychology, communication alongside public health, history alongside health humanities, environmental science alongside policy, and research alongside real-world experience. Because the future of health belongs to people who can connect ideas—not just disciplines.

Health is one of CU Denver’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences most expansive and interdisciplinary strengths. As the largest college on campus, CLAS brings together diverse departments and programs spanning the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities— providing the momentum you need to address health from multiple perspectives.

This integrated approach reflects CLAS’s core strength: bringing more than 20 disciplines together to holistically tackle complex, real‑world health challenges.

At our urban university, you'll pursue degrees and training across a wide range of health-related fields, while faculty collaborate on research that connects biological processes, environmental systems, human behavior, cultural meaning, and public policy. You'll round out your education by exploring health-related career pathways through our partnership with the largest academic medical campus in the state: University of Colorado Anzchutz.
