The CLAS EPCC consists of: five voting faculty members-one from each academic area (humanities, social sciences, physical/natural sciences and integrated sciences), two at-large voting faculty members, one undergraduate and one graduate voting student, ex-officio representatives of the Dean's office and the CLAS Advising Office.
Proposal Deadlines
- August EPCC Meeting - Deadline for changes to be included in the 2026-2027 catalog. All new courses, updates to existing courses (including changes to course titles, descriptions, prerequisites, credit hours), course removals, AND all new programs, revisions to existing programs (including changes to course requirements, policies, credit hours, etc.) submitted after this date may not be published in the upcoming academic year's catalog, which may postpone implemenation to the following academic year.
- Catalog Editing Deadlines - For more thorough curriculum deadlines, please see the Catalog Editing Timeline.
- Note: The catalog is not a living document, in that it is only updated once per year, and cannot be revised after it is published until the next catalog edition. Edits requested and/or made after posted deadlines must wait until the next year’s catalog to be published. It is imperative that urgent changes are submitted through EPCC by all deadlines listed.
- We recommend that any new programs (degree, certificate, minor, etc.) be starting through all proposal processes at least 1 ½ years before it should appear in a catalog, to ensure there is enough time to go through all necessary approvals and be built in the catalog, with buffer time for unforeseen delays.
