Course Scheduling Calendar

Please note that some of these dates are subject to change based on the schedules of the CLAS Course Coordinators as well as when schedules are rolled and opened by the Registrar’s Office Each year. For questions about specifics of this process, please reach out to CLAS.courses@ucdenver.edu.

January
  • Beginning of January (2 weeks prior to class start) – Spring Low Enroll Deadline
  • Mid-January (1 week prior to class start) – Spring Instructor Consent Due
  • Mid-January – Fall schedules sent to departments for Final Review
  • 3rd Tuesday in January (after MLK Day) – Spring classes Start
  • 1 week after classes start - Spring waitlists purged 
  • Last week of January – Summer Rooming Optimization
February
  • Beginning of February – Fall final schedules due to Course Coordinators
  •  Last week of February – Fall Rooming Optimization
March
  • March 1 – Summer Registration Opens
  • Beginning of March – Spring Prelim schedules sent to departments*
April
  • April 1 – Fall Registration Opens
  • End of April – Spring Prelims due to Course Coordinators
May
  • End of May (2 weeks prior to class start) – Summer Low Enroll Deadline
  • End of May (1 weeks prior to class start) – Summer Instructor Consent Due
June
  • 1st Monday of June – Summer classes start

*Spring schedules should be sent to departments before PTI meetings to be used in planning for PTI budget meetings.
