Students who complete their degree with a 3.0 cumulative GPA and a 3.5 or higher GPA in their Communication courses will earn Cum Laude honors. 

Students who wish to pursue high Summa Cum Laude and Magna Cum Laude honors must enroll in COMM 4700 Writing Practicum and complete a paper that engages them in intensive research, in addition to meeting the GPA requirements outlined above.
