BA in Communication
The Communication major at the University of Colorado Denver has as its focus and mission the development of the skills, knowledge, and abilities necessary to use communication to create a more civil and humane world.
The curriculum was developed to counter the pervasive atmosphere of unrelenting contention and uncivil communication that characterizes the contemporary world.
BA + MA Program
You can earn a BA and MA in Communication in much less time than it would take to earn the degrees separately.
For current undergraduate students who want to earn a Master’s in Communication, this new program offers many advantages.
Master of Arts
The Master of Arts in Communication is designed to enhance your intellectual and professional growth through the understanding and practice of effective communication.
Minor
Knowledge in most professional settings means little unless it can be communicated effectively. That's why you may opt to pair a COMM minor with your degree in other disciplines.
Certificates
Certificates offer you the advantage of earning a credential in a focused field.
You will find certificates in Global & Intercultural Communication, Health Communication, Mediation, and Strategic Communication.

We offer an array of online classes in order to provide you with scheduling flexibility and hands-on experiences consistent with twenty-first century learning environments.
International College Beijing
International College Beijing (ICB) offers a CU Denver Bachelor of Arts degree in Dommunication. Courses are taught in English by CU Denver faculty in Beijing.
COMM 8 Week Program
Take complete COMM courses online that have been condensed from 16 weeks to just 8 weeks.
Choose from three pathways: Health Communication, Global & Intercultural Studies, or Strategic Communication. Or take a combination of classes for a generalist degree.
CU Succeed
Our department has worked with CU Succeed for ten years to provide introductory communication courses for CU Succeed Gold and Silver students throughout Colorado.
You can take CU Denver courses for both high school and college credit during the school day, on the high school campus.
