Course and curriculum development in CLAS originates with our faculty at the departmental and/or program level. Once proposals are developed and approved at that level, they should be forwarded for review at the college level to the CLAS Educational Policies and Curriculum Committee. From there, further internal review and approval may be required by the CLAS Budget Priorities Committee, the CLAS Council, the CLAS Council of Chairs, etc. These reviewing bodies make recommendations to the CLAS Dean for final college-level approvals. Depending on the type of proposal, university and state levels of review and approval may be required by the University Curriculum Committee, Graduate Council, the Board of Regents, etc..
