Major Tasks

Create & Manage Feedback Tool:

• Gather input from others on information to collect
• Research options for feedback collection tools
• Implement tool
• Communicate with participants and presenters to gather feedback

Add Resources to Lab Website:

• Gather input from a variety of sources on desired topics
• Recruit presenters for short educational resources to be posted on website
• Manage/coordinate logistics of recording and posting resources
• Communicate with presenters about needs, logistics

Desired Traits

Organizational Skills:

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Ability to predict logistical needs in hosting events and respond to unexpected needs as they come up
• Ability to document coordination process for future coordinators

Communication Skills:

• Ability to communicate professionally with students and faculty of UC Denver as well as professionals in the FOSS4G field
• Ability and desire to create and foster relationships with other individuals and organizations interested in supporting the the lab
• Ability to regularly report on project goals to Steering Committee and participate in discussion regarding the future directions of the lab

Personality Traits:

• Desire and ability to work in a fluid environment with evolving structure and tasks
• Desire to gain experience in coordination and communication skills
