Laurel manages Continuing and Professional Education Programs and credit and noncredit courses, workshops and conferences for the College. The programs she oversees include the New Directions in Politics and Public Policy graduate program, the CU Succeed concurrent/dual enrollment program, U.S. Travel Study courses and new program initiatives to expand course delivery to people who are not able to come to the CU Denver campus. She monitors compliance with the Higher Learning Commission guidelines for all continuing and professional education courses and programs. Activities include oversight and support for interdisciplinary programs in the College, coordination with other CU Denver Colleges and Schools involved with CPE and leading the Adhoc CPE Advisory Committee for the College.
