Let's take inventory of how digital education and digital production of scholarship and creative work factor into faculty MERIT—how they do, how they don't, and how they could. Digital work differs from traditional, reshaping workload and transcending conventional beliefs about faculty life & work. Help us explore ideas and upgrades to move toward a MERIT system that is more reflective of modern practice and scholarship. What do you do that deserves recognition but doesn’t get it? What would you like to do but are advised to set aside? What are you doing to disseminate your research/scholarship/creative work digitally? What would you like to do? Does your primary unit recognize, encourage, or discourage you?
