The EURēCA! Fellows Program is being piloted in 2018 with the support of the Office of the Provost and administration by the Office of Research Services with support from the Experiential Learning Center. This is a highly competitive grants-in-aid program that provides a small number of CU Denver undergraduates from any school or college with a stipend to conduct original research, creative, or other scholarly activity in the field of their declared major under the supervision of a CU Denver or CU AMC faculty mentor. The goals of this program are to provide talented undergraduates who have a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career involving original research, creative, or other scholarly activity with a scholarly experience. Each EURēCA! Fellow will receive a stipend totaling up to $3000 to support original research, creative, or other scholarly activity for a period of not less than: 8 weeks at 30 hours per week during the Summer 2018 Semester, or 15 weeks at 16 hours per week during the Fall 2018 Semester, or some combination thereof. Fellows will set a firm schedule in consultation with their mentor that accommodates their course schedule and that includes required trainings and meetings, in addition to the scholarly activity. The stipend will be administered as salary disbursed on a bi-weekly basis during the semester(s) for which the award was made. Questions can be directed to Leo.Bruederle@ucdenver.edu or Lindsey.Hamilton@ucdenver.edu.
Canvas Outage
Canvas access has been restored for our users, but the service reliability remains uncertain. Due to recent events, Canvas has had intermittent outages which are at the discretion of the vendor and may occur during a final exam. Faculty and staff may continue to use Canvas, but we strongly advise faculty and students to prepare a contingency plan for turning in assignments and final exams in the event Canvas access becomes unavailable again.
Instructure, the company that owns Canvas, has provided an FAQ about the incident, which may not answer all your questions. We will share more information if it becomes available.
