As a continuation of the university’s OpenAI initiative, CU’s ChatGPT Edu will be made available for free to eligible CU Denver and CU Anschutz students on Aug. 14, 2026.
Eligible students are required to take the AI training in Canvas to request access. After completing the training, students will receive an email invitation to join the CU ChatGPT Edu instance with their university email address.
