Fitzhugh’s proposal (for single walled carbon nanotube purification) was one of 18 out of 124 selected in this round of OEDIT funding. In part an outcome of Fitzhugh’s MIS thesis with Clinical Associate Professor C/T Masoud Asadi, the grant will provide funding for work to be done by Physics Associate Professor Randall Tagg, Electrical Engineering Professor Mark Golkowski , Physics Senior Instructor Richard Geyer, and alumni David Bergkamp and Ryan Jacobs.
