2024-2025 Graduation Deadlines

Students who are planning to graduate this academic year should view this calendar.  It lists all of the paperwork and graduation deadlines for each semester.

MHMSS Courses and Syllabi

Students will be able to preview the courses taught by the MHMSS program as well as the most recent course syllabus. 

MHMSS Handbook

All MHMSS students must read the Graduate Handbook so that they understand the policies and procedures concerning the program. 

Fall 2024 Suggested Courses

This is a list of courses offered that will apply towards your MH or MSS degree.  Please be sure to meet with your advisor to discuss which courses you should take. 

Application for Admission to Candidacy

This form must be filled out prior to census date the semester you plan to graduate.  The needs to be filled out electronically.  Once the form is filled out and signed by the program director, it will be submitted to Stephanie Puello in the Graduate School. Exam Request Form

This form is to be filled out and turned into the Graduate School two week prior to defending your thesis or project.  It must be filled out electroncially.  No handwritten forms will be accepted. All forms for the Graduate School can be found here.

MHMSS Thesis/Project Approval Form

Students will need to fill this form out prior to working on their thesis or project.  This form must be signed by all of the faculty who have agreed to serve on the student's committee.  It must also be approved by either the MH or MSS director.

Travel Award Application

Students can recieve up to $500 in travel funding from the Graduate School if they are presenting a paper or poster.

Schedule Adjust Form

This form is used to register for classes if the deadline to register for courses online has passed.  It can also be used to drop classes if the deadline to drop online is passed.

Special Processing Form

The Special Processing form is to be used when students wish to take an Independent Study, Thesis Hours, or Project Hours.

Thesis Approval Form

This form is for students who choose to write a thesis.  The approval form is signed by the student's committee the day that they defend their thesis.  The chair of the committee should submit the form to the Graduate School once they approve. All forms for the Graduate School can be found here.
