Margaret Woodhull is an Associate Professor in the History Department. She is an Art Historian specializing in the visual and material culture of the Ancient Greco-Roman world. Since 2005, she has directed the Masters of Humanities and Social Science, and Interdisciplinary Studies programs at CU Denver. Her work focuses on women in the Classical world. Her book, Monumental Matrons: Imperial Women, Gender, and Architecture in Rome from the Early to Mid-Empire will be published by Cambridge University Press in early 2026. 

Professor Woodhull will be on sabbatical during the academic year 2025-2026.
