$120.00 USD

No, you are not required to pay the $120 ESL Application Processing and Placement Testing Fee.

You will automatically be directed to pay or allowed the option to pay after you submit the application. If you do not pay within 3 days, you will receive another notification with an email link. After 7 days, you will receive a final reminder notice to pay the $120 fee unless you notified us of your specific situation and alternative payment or conditions have been agreed to by both parties.

Yes, you will receive an email receipt.  

The University of Colorado does not provide refunds for application fee payments. If you have made a duplicate payment by accident, please send us an email to esl@ucdenver.edu​ and explain what happened. 

The University of Colorado uses Nelnet Quikpay to process payments. Nelnet Business Solutions (NBS) is PCI Level 1 Validated. (Click here to verify). If you would like more information, please see their Privacy Statement and their Security & Compliance Statement.
