About Nicole Piasecki:

Nicole has served as an instructor of writing, rhetoric, and technology for the CU Denver English Department for more than 15 years. She teaches Core Composition I and II, Multimedia Composition, Business Writing, and Special Topics: Writing Personal Essay. Her research and creative activities focus on multimodal storytelling, creative nonfiction, literary editing and publishing, and e-learning design.

As a Senior Consulting Editor for nonfiction, Nicole helps edit at Copper Nickel literary magazine. She also serves as an Associate Editor for Colorado Review and the Center for Literary publishing.

Her creative work has been featured in Longreads, Hippocampus, Motherwell, Word Riot, Gertrude Press, and Literary Mama. Her craft pieces and author interviews have appeared in the Brevity Magazine blog and the Center for Literary Publishing podcast and blog.
