In this collection of short fiction, author Ayse Papatya Bucak confronts the nature of historical memory and examines the tension between myth and history, cultural categories, personal identity, performance and authenticity. If you participate in this B@W you will also have the added opportunity to see the author read passages of the book and discuss the work (author visiting campus on Sept. 16, two days before the book group meets).
