Michael Wunder, Associate Professor of Integrated Biology, is proud to announce the accomplishments of students in his lab:

Colin Woolley, MS graduate from Wunder lab was recently hired as an ornithologist with Point Blue, a conservation science non-profit based in California.

Ryan Parker, MS student in the Wunder lab, gave a presentation on his research at the annual conference of the Wyoming chapter of the Wildlife Society in Cody, WY.

Ben Lagasse, MS student in the Wunder lab, recently published a paper in Wilson Journal of Ornithology based on studies of Wood Thrush that he did as an undergraduate.

Allison Pierce, MS student in the Wunder lab, recently published a paper in Journal of Field Ornithology based on migration in mountain plover, the focal species of her this research.

David Schutt, MS student in the Wunder lab (co-advised by Dr. Alan Vajda), was recently interviewed about his research program (and US politics among other things) by an Australian radio station. The podcast of that interview can be heard here. Schutt was also selected as a new board member of the U.S. Association of Polar Early Career Scientists, and was awarded a travel award by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to deliver a presentation about his research at the 12th annual Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research Biology Symposium, to be held in Leuven, Belgium in July 2017.
