If you are still on a course waitlist during the first week of classes, attend the class, keep up with the assignments, and introduce yourself to the instructor. While you are on the waitlist for a class, monitor your status on the waitlist by frequently logging in to UCD Access (not Canvas). When someone drops a closed course with a waitlist, the student who is next on the waitlist is automatically enrolled.
Waitlists will be elimated on the waitlist deadline each semester (see Academic Calendar). If you have not been enrolled in the class by that time, you will be dropped from the waitlist. At this point, you may enroll in an open section in UCD Access. If you are trying to enroll in a course that requires instructor consent, you will need to use the Schedule Adjustment Form.
