Admission for 4+1 BS in Mathematics/MS in Statistics

To be admitted to the 4+1 BS in Mathematics/MS in Statistics degree program, students must have completed the following courses with a C- or better:

  • Calculus I-III
  • MATH 3000 Introduction to Abstract Mathematics
  • MATH 3191 Applied Linear Algebra (or equivalent)
  • MATH 3382 Statistical Theory

and have a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) over all mathematics courses.

At that point, students may apply to the 4+1 BS in Mathematics/MS in Statistics degree program.

To apply, contact the Director of Statistical Programs, Daniel Klie, to complete an “Intention to complete 4+1 Bachelor’s to Master’s Degree form.”
