Maximizing Access to Research Careers – Undergraduate Student Training in Academic Research

The MARC U-STAR scholarship program provides financial and academic support to students who are interested in research careers and plan to pursue a Ph.D. in the behavioral or biomedical sciences. The scholarship is funded through a grant from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (T34 GM096958).

The program provides academic, experiential, and financial support, as well as mentorship and guidance, to help prepare participants to enter and complete a Ph.D. program in the behavioral or biomedical sciences.
