Lecturer Appointments

General Hiring Overview 

  1. Create a job description using the most recent template. You can contact your HR Liaison to obtain the most current template. 
  2. Submit a Non Person Profile (NPP) to have the job description posted to CU Careers. 
  3. Once your position is posted to CU Careers and you have a candidate you would like to hire, you can draft an offer letter.
  4. Submit a Background Check Request and initiate the I-9 form through HireRight.
  5. Once the background check is approved, submit the hire transaction in HCM for review and approval.
