General Hiring Overview
- Create a job description using the most recent template. You can contact your HR Liaison to obtain the most current template.
- Submit a Non Person Profile (NPP) to have the job description posted to CU Careers.
- Once your position is posted to CU Careers and you have a candidate you would like to hire, you can draft an offer letter.
- Submit a Background Check Request and initiate the I-9 form through HireRight.
- Once the background check is approved, submit the hire transaction in HCM for review and approval.
