About Drew Bixby:

Drew Bixby teaches Magazine Writing, Advanced Magazine Writing, and Composition and is the Assistant Director of the Writing Center at CU Denver, where he handles operations for the Anschutz Medical Campus. He is the author of Denver's Best Dive Bars: Drinking and Diving in the Mile High City and was a frequent contributor and columnist to Westword from 2005-2012. He served as President of the Board of Directors for Venture Prep High School in Denver's Park Hill neighborhood and is Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Colorado Wyoming Writing Centers Association (CWWCA). He is the father of three daughters.
