I teach writing at CU Denver. My research analyzes the intersection of visual culture and social media, particularly art activism and social justice. I’m also a certified suicide prevention trainer, lacrosse mom, and Mammoth fan (in spite of the lousy season we had). When I’m not teaching or writing, I’m hiking or reading. YA fiction is my favorite reading for pleasure, but I tend to buy more theory books than my shelves can hold.
