Bradford Mudge will be giving two conference presentations this fall, both on Joshua Reynolds and his portrait of Mai, recently purchased jointly by the NPG and the Getty. In addition, Professor Mudge has two essays forthcoming, one on the theory of portraiture and another on the self-portraits of Thomas Patch.
