Functional Images

A functional image is an image that involves an action rather than one that provides information. These images can enhance buttons, links, and other functional elements.

Tips for writing the alt text:

  1. It should describe the action that will happen when you click the image, rather than what the image is.
  2. It is crucial for understanding the functionality of the content being displayed.
  3. If the action is a link to another webpage, include the name of the destination and not the word "link," i.e., "webpage informative images."
