Public Health students and HBSC faculty present at APHA

Public health undergraduates, Lisette Martinez (MARC-USTAR) and Safa Mechergui (EUReCA fellow), presented their research alongside Health and Behavioral Sciences doctoral student Marisa Westbrook at the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting, in Philadelphia, on November 5. This research, a collaboration with Associate Professor and Chair Sara Yeatman and Associate Professor Jean Scandlyn, was titled “Contraceptive Access and Use through School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs): Rural and Suburban Students’ Perceptions from Colorado.”
