Fracking a key issue in upcoming senate primary, according to Karen Breslin

Former Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper recently abandoned his long-shot bid for the White House to enter the Democratic primary for one of Colorado’s US senate seat in 2020. Combating climate change and preserving the environment is a top issue for Democratic voters — especially progressives. “Fracking activists have dubbed Hickenlooper ‘Frackenlooper’ for his support for fracking,” said Karen Breslin, Political Science Instructor.
