Joshua French, Associate Professor of Mathematical and Statistical Science, was recently awarded a National Science Foundation research award of $80,000 over a three-year timeframe (August 1, 2019 to July 31, 2022). The title of the proposal is ``Collaborative Research: Spectral Functional Principal Components on Abelian Groups with Applications to Spatial Functional Data” and the research is collaborative with Piotr S. Kokoszka, from Colorado State University.
