ThinqStudio offers two types of funded opportunities for 2018-2019

Published: May 11, 2018

Faculty Explorers—correspondents sent into the field to discover and uncover new notions of teaching and learning, and report back to the campus. This is a mission of reconnaissance that offers you the chance to explore and the campus the chance to learn from your adventures.

  • ThinqStudio will subsidize your travel & accommodations to select conferences to gather intelligence, document, and report on your findings.
  • Reporting will involve some form of media (blogging, tweeting, podcasting, etc.) during your expedition, plus campus workshops after your return.

Faculty Fellows—in addition to the Explorers’ opportunities and roles, Fellows take on extended commitments over the academic year. They are thought leaders, invited to experiment with pedagogy as scholars in residence.

  • ThinqStudio Fellows receive the Explorers’ travel benefits plus one course release, a one-time stipend of $3,000, access to graduate student support & other resources, and opportunities to incubate ideas and ideals about teaching and learning.
  • In addition to roles as reporters like the Explorers, Fellows will take on a variety of projects and processes to evolve and share their growth.

All rostered faculty (Tenure-track/Tenured, Instructors, and Clinical Teaching Track) of all ranks are eligible to apply (and find out more info) here: http://thinq.studio
