SEEDS now at CU Denver

Published: Oct. 13, 2016

CU Denver is the newest chapter of SEEDS—Strategies for Ecology Education, Diversity, and Sustainability. SEEDS is a 20 year-old program of the Ecological Society of America with a mission "to diversify and advance the ecology profession through opportunities that stimulate and nurture the interest of underrepresented students to participate, and to lead in ecology. Focused mainly at the undergraduate level, with extension services for communities, high schools, graduate students, and international collaborations, the SEEDS program promotes an ecology profession with wide representation to ensure environmental understanding and a sustainable future for all." The CU Denver SEEDS chapter is also in the process of forming a tri-institutional Sustainability Club. Students interested in sustainability or ecology should contact to participate.
