Bio

Guinevere Chambers is a lecturer at the University of Colorado - Denver, specializing in intersectional qualitative research and applied sociology. Guinevere's expertise is in medical sociology and gender/sexuality studies, and their recent work has focused on the lived experiences of disabled adults in regard to police abuse, sexuality, and chronic pain. Outside of teaching, Guinevere plays the cello in local ensembles, documents Gold Rush era ghost towns around Colorado, and engages in activism and outreach work.
