Bachelor's of Social Work

The Department of Sociology is excited to announce that it will launch its Bachelor of Social Work degree in Fall 2027.

Launching the Bachelor of Social Work degree in Fall 2027.

The Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) is undergraduate degree that prepares you for either entry-level, generalist social work practice and/or graduate social work education. A BSW degree is one of the most useful and flexible undergraduate degrees you can earn. BSW graduates gain the skills needed to work as child and family social workers, mental health and substance abuse social workers, and healthcare social workers.

Our program features interdisciplinary opportunities across campus while following national accreditation standards. As a BSW graduate, you will have the knowledge, skills, abilities, and credentials required to perform social work jobs at the bachelor’s level, apply for bachelor level licensure where applicable, and apply to Master of Social Work programs with advanced standing.

The program features both in-person and online courses, providing you the flexibility you need to balance your professional and personal goals.

Please leave your contact information to receive updates about the program and join us for our launch next year!
