Annie earned B.A. degrees in Intensive Psychology and Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2019, and an M.A. in Sexuality Studies from San Francisco State University in 2022. Her master’s thesis investigated the role of community in promoting well-being and facilitating healing from trauma among queer individuals and couples. Annie’s research interests include LGBTQ+ relationships and communities, health equity, and the effects of trauma on intimate relationships.
