Karima Shehadeh earned her B.S. in Psychology at Sam Houston State University in 2018, her M.S. in Psychology at Arizona State University in 2020, and her PhD in Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Colorado Denver in 2026. Her dissertation work focused on applying the Theory of Planned Behavior to infidelity. Her clinical and research interests include the interplay of intimate relationships and mental health outcomes.
After completing her internship at the New Mexico VA in Albuquerque, Dr. Shehadeh joined the Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral
Residency Program in the Family Mental Health Community of Practice and Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Care track at the VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS).
