Karima Shehadeh earned her B.S. in Psychology at Sam Houston State University in 2018 and her M.S. in Psychology at Arizona State University in 2020. At Arizona State, she completed her Master’s thesis on the role of intimacy, rumination and sleep quality on the psychological and physical health of individuals in relationships. Her clinical and research interests include the interplay of intimate relationships and mental health outcomes. Her dissertation work focused on applying the Theory of Planned Behavior to infidelity.
After completing her internship at the New Mexico VA in Albuquerque, Dr. Shehadeh joined the Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral
Residency Program in the Family Mental Health Community of Practice and Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Care track at the VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS).
