Research

Research in the Psychology Department takes place in two primary Divisions:  Clinical Health Psychology and Behavioral/Cognitive Neuroscience.

The faculty of the Department of Psychology have national reputations as scholars who are active researchers in their fields. Our faculty members publish the results of their research, including projects funded by organizations such as the National Institutes of Health, in a wide range of prestigious journals in psychology, behavioral medicine and the neurosciences, and are regular attendees and organizers of national research conferences. In addition, our faculty members are committed to undergraduate and graduate research education and opportunity, and as a result often publish together with student co-authors.
