An Evening with Jeanette Vizguerra - Livestreamed

 The CU Denver Political Science Department will be livestreaming the 3rd Annual Colorado Critical Interdisciplinary Speaker, Jeanette Vizguerra, tomorrow, March 14th at 7:00pm.

Ms. Vizguerra will speak about her life experiences in the United States in a talk entitled “Immigrant Mother and Leader in the Global Struggle to Keep Families Together."

 About Jeanette Vizguerra

Jeanette Vizguerra is an undocumented immigrant mother and activist for labor and immigration rights who became a prominent public figure in 2017 when she took sanctuary in the basement of the First Unitarian Society of Denver church to avoid deportation.

This talk will be a bilingual event delivered in both English and Spanish, and it is free and open to the public.

The lecture will be located in Student Commons, room 2600. Student Commons is located at 1201 Larimer St.
