The Political Science Student Journal, Praxis: Politics in Action, is accepting submissions for publication for the Spring 2026 edition. The journal serves as a venue for undergraduate and graduate students in the CU Denver Political Science Department to publish their scholarly and creative work. We are committed to advancing the public good through accessible scholarship. We are especially interested in featuring scholarship that touches on themes of political activism and social transformation--but any political science submission is welcome!
Most submissions begin as a paper that you might have written for a separate class or other research purposes, and that you are now interested in polishing up for publication in our journal. If you are considering writing an honors thesis this year, that is another good foundation for a Praxis publication.
Your submission does not have to be completely ready and polished at this point--a rough draft of a paper can be submitted for consideration, and our editors will work with you over the coming months to revise and improve your paper for publication.
If you have a paper you have written for a class that you think might be fitting, SUBMIT IT! Deadline for submission ideas is December 15th, 2025. Please submit ideas to the Praxis faculty advisor, Professor Tony Robinson: tony.robinson@ucdenver.edu.
