You can register for this program if you have never taken a Spanish class and don't speak Spanish at home. You will learn elementary Medical Spanish, starting with the most fundamental building blocks of the language, such as the alphabet, numbers, greetings, etc. This certificate will get you started with basic knowledge of Spanish, and you'll be able to greet patients, ask about their pain, and other simple questions.
If you speak Spanish at home or have taken any Spanish classes, take the Placement Test before enrolling in your first class and send your results to the program director, Dr. Marisa Fernández Martínez.
Please get in touch with the program director, Dr. María Luisa Fernández Martínez, before enrolling in these courses to plan your classes.
