GRMN 1003 -  Beginning German I  (3 Credits)  Introduces basic grammar, sentence structure and speech patterns. Note: Students may not enroll in any lower division (1000/2000) language skills course in which their level of proficiency exceeds that of the course. Students placing into a course through any means other than following the regular sequence must consult with an appropriate faculty member of the Dept. of Modern Languages prior to enrollment. Typically Offered: Fall.

GRMN 1004 -  Beginning German II  (3 Credits)  Continuation of GRMN 1003. Typically Offered: Spring.

GRMN 3200 -  Current German Society and Culture  (3 Credits) - Provides students with a detailed overview of the systems in modern, united Germany such as social, educational, and political. Examines how Germany sees itself as a vital member of the EU. Exposes students to rudimentary use of the German language. Restriction: Sophomore standing or higher. Additional Information: Denver Core Requirement, International Perspectives. Typically Offered: Fall, Spring. German Student Research Showcase from this class.
