Spanish in Valladolid: VENGA, VALE, VAMOS
Why Study Abroad?
- This program combines formal language instruction with practical, real-world experiences. You will not only attend classes but also live with Spanish families, participate in local activities, and explore the city and surrounding areas.

Course Information

SPAN 2110 or 2120 or 3999 (depending on level prior to trip) with University of Valladolid, will receive Pass/Fail grade

SPAN 2995 or 3995 International Perspectives will receive a letter grade
Housing: Homestay, Spanish host family. You will have one roommate from CU. You will be provided 3 meals a day.
Evening & Day-trips: There will be trips to different cities in Spain. For example: Segovia, Santander, Burgos and Avila.

Scholarships & Financial Aid
This program is considered full time, so can use student loans, grants, etc. If you are planning on using financial aid, make an appointment to talk to a financial aid advisor asap so they can help you plan. There are many scholarships available to students. Here is a link to all of the CU Denver Scholarships. Also, make sure you apply for the CU Denver Global Study Scholarship. If you are a Pell Grant recipient, apply for the Gilman Award. This could cover up to the entire program cost.
