Dr. Hassan specializes in international relations, particularly as it applies to Middle East politics. He frequently utilizes media and culture to analyze international politics. Dr. Hassan is scheduled to teach the Capstone course: INTS 4990 (a capstone experience is required of all graduating students). This Capstone course will be in high demand. Make sure to register early for fall 2024.

In 2018, Dr. Hassan earned the campus-wide Teaching Excellence Award. Dr. Hassan also administers the Middle Eastern Politics Undergraduate Certificate.
