Check out Global Livingston Institute's (GLI) new report: Community-Based Music Festivals as Tools for Advancing Public Goods (co-authored by INTS alum Jason Kincaid).
From GLI:
The Global Livingston Institute (GLI) aims to think differently about community development. Through public health, climate action, and community-driven programs, we partner with local leaders and organizations directly to Listen and Think before we Act. GLI employs more than 40 East Africans who lead our community programs and projects, and our Global Classroom immersion trips and internships have brought thousands of students from around the world to East Africa to learn community development best practices.
GLI offers internship opportunities year-round in a limited capacity based on our organization’s needs. We are very intentional about aligning interns with supervisors that request intern support, or setting students up for success on independent research projects. GLI interns join the team either in the US or East Africa, in-person or remotely.
