Study Abroad Fair: Zoom in! Faculty and OGE staff will highlight Spring and Summer 2022 programs and to work with students in planning their own journey. Faculty led programs include Denmark, Italy, China, South Korea, Spain, UK, India, France and Czech Republic.  

Scholarships & Financial Assistance Panel:  Please pass the word!  At 1pm January 26th we will hold a panel discussion on zoom for students on using scholarships and financial assistance for study abroad.  Jennifer Helgeson (Financial Aid and Scholarship Office), Yvonne Dinsmore (Office of Veteran & Military Student Services), Krystal Booker-Reusch (OGE), and one of our star student scholarship recipients will join us.   Here is the zoom link: https://ucdenver.zoom.us/j/96360363729

New Passport Scholarships:  In addition to our OGE $500 student scholarship, we are introducing a scholarship for students seeking their first U.S. passport. Tell students to look for details at the panel or our Fair.   

CAM Semester in Singapore:  After much planning, we are incredibly pleased that applications opened today for CAM’s exciting new semester in Singapore next Fall.  Hats off to Dean Kaptain, Mark Rabideau, Krystal Booker-Reusch and their supporting cast for making this dream come true.

State Department Career Opportunities:  State is holding a career fair for Diplomatic Security Officers on January 17at 5pmMST.  Register here:  https://www.usajobs.gov/Notification/Events#ST1019  They are also recruiting Foreign Service IT managers: https://careers.state.gov/work/foreign-service/specialist/career-tracks/information-management-specialist/; and the Department of Commerce has reopened Commercial Officer recruitment for the first time in years.  The latter requires seasoned international trade experience but it’s a phenomenal lifestyle and career.
