Ashley Hatch and Sukru Karaoglu have earned the 2021 Erica Huss Memorial Scholarship for Global Citizenship. The scholarship provides funding for the United Nations Intensive Summer Program. Designed for advanced undergraduates, the program fosters global citizenship by immersing participants in the political dynamics of the United Nations. The week-long program familiarizes students with the inner workings of the United Nations by bringing them together with distinguished practitioners working in the field of multilateral diplomacy. Participants attend official sessions at the United Nations' Headquarters, as well as briefings at the United Nations Association and the United Nations Foundation. Scholarship funds are applied to program tuition and travel expenses. More about the remarkable Erica Huss is here.
The Plaza Building will remain closed through Jan. 1, 2025.
Faculty and staff may retrieve items and use copy machines in preparation for finals week with Campus ID badges through the door on the Southwest side across from King Center. Additionally, the Auraria Health Center (link: https://healthcenter1.com) is continuing to operate at a reduced capacity.
