Course Description:
What does it mean to belong in
the US? How do race and
religious affiliation determine
who belongs? Is the current
immigration debate about
religion? Race? What does
religious freedom mean and
who has it applied to? We will
analyze historical and pop
cultural texts to explore these
issues.
