Brenda Mendoza Ortega participated in the INTS Careers event in fall 2019. In case you missed it, Brenda earned her in B.A. International Studies in 2016, with emphases in language, culture, international political economy, and global health. She currently works as a Health Promotion Facilitator at the Colorado School of Public Health. There (according to LinkedIn), she teaches best practices around nutrition and physical activity to parents, teachers, and staff in school settings. She assists in the design, development, and implementation of a statewide digital health outreach campaign called Text2BHealthy. She also directs development efforts, such as website design, development of branding, marketing, and recruitment materials to promote a statewide digital health outreach intervention. Brenda mentioned at the fall INTS Careers event that she was working in her “dream job” and was using her INTS background everyday. INTS is proud of Brenda’s accomplishments!
