In early December, two Integrative Biology undergraduate students, Kristin Olson and Vishnusai Kodicherla, and two graduate students, Kate Hayes and Kyle Turchick, (not pictured) presented their research projects in Alaska at the largest earth science conference in the world, the annual AGU meeting in San Francisco, California. As part of the Alaska disturbance research in the Brian Buma lab, they presented results from the 2019 field season on carbon, permafrost, and plant changes at high latitudes. Dr. Brian Buma also gave a talk at the conference.  The work was sponsored by an NSF grant to Dr. Buma.
