Spenser is a PhD student in the Health and Behavioral Sciences program at CU Denver and a NSF Graduate Research Fellow. Her primary research interests include eating disorders, involuntary mental health treatment, medical and legal decision making, netnography, medical ethics, and mixed methods. She has previously worked in clinical eating disorder research, assistive technology research, and as a counselor in residential and inpatient eating disorder treatment settings.
